I purchased some seeds at Lowe's. The package says pelleted seeds. The envolope has white round balls. I'm sure the seeds are inside but what is the reason?

Hi Betty, *Love your sign in name..*

Some seeds are soooooooooooooooo tiny,
you can barely see them, let alone pick
one up and put it in a certain place...

So, they put some coating on it, so you can
pick it up with your fingers, and place it on
top of the soil right where you want it....

I had some pelleted petunia's seeds last year,
and what a difference the year before, when there was about a 100 of them, and when I tried to pick some up, I had about 25 of them......and they stuck to my fingers and it wasn't fun....

So, pelleted are just easier...

*But they do tend to put less in the packages
cause they are pelleted...pro's and con's.....

What kind did you get????

done this have entertained angels without realizing it.
