I have a norfolk pine that has grown so that the top is up against the ceiling. If I trim the top section off will it kill the plant?

wow, i have no idea. my mom has a 5 foot norfolk pine.

all i know is that in the wild, they grow to be 150 feet tall, and they're not really pine trees, they're more closely related to ferns.

my mom puts hers outside every spring, and brings it in for the winter, and every year it gets bigger and bigger. i dont know what she's going to do with it when it gets too big for the house.
