My lovely cat , Morgan, really liked the Wandering Jew my mother gave me. She liked it so much she ate all the leavres off!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know if my poor Wandering Jew will come back? [dunno] [Eek!]
My mom is in ICU right now so the plant means alot too me.
Any help would be just great!
Thanks,
Angelia

just the leaves? ot the stem part too?

I would think if it was just the leaves it should come back out.

I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once.

Wouldn't it need leaves though to absorb sunlight so it could grow???? [dunno] I have several wandering jews--grown them for 5 or 6 years now--but I'm by no means a houseplant expert....I always take cuttings to start a new plant up....maybe you could salvage a few good pieces and root them in water..... most plants can store energy elsewhere, and then use that to make new leaves.

Think about it, if you cut a weed but leave its roots in the ground, it usually comes back, thanks to its stored energy.

it'll come back. just be careful to keep it watered, but not soggy. let it dry just a bit between waterings...

There isn't much left of our W J either. We had it going from a clipping in the summer, but now it's sparse. We're just watering it lightly and hoping for the best.

We have it hanging in a place where our cat can't get at it.

Darn varmints!
