One of the tenants got these when he was out Friday (I think it was a construction site - some place where a reno or build was being done. He has no compunction about marching up to whoever is in charge and saying 'Hey! I have a home for those.)

We put this one on the south island:

And this one on the north:

VERY NICE!!!!
You got yourself some awesomely colored bushes there!!!
WOW!!!
One's reddish and the other is purple*ish*, neat!

I'm not too big into bushes, so, I'm not too sure what kind they are??? [dunno]

Maybe one of the other gardener's can come thru that do have them.

On a side note too Carly
I was looking at the last picture there and there's leaves fallen on the ground....
I think the one I saw was green, and it's got a black dot on it.....

Don't use those to "compost" under your tree...
Sweep those up and throw them away....

It's BLACK SPOT on the maple leaves...

If you don't sweep them up and get rid of them,
it'll just keep that disease more and more...

Weezie

Here's some info on it TAR SPOTS or Black Spot on Maples

It's not life threatening, but you just want to keep under the tree cleaned up of fallen leaves.

Ooops!

Acccch! 80% of the leaves that are falling have this!

Maybe I shouldn't be using it to composte my little plots.
