Can't get rid of moles! Traps have helped in the past but not lately - any creative new ideas?

My experiance with moles is now in its 5th year. Moles eat grub and worms and will travel 300 feet in one pop. They feed night or day and will sometimes rest where they ate their last grub for a day and then move on. mine seem to take refuge or nest under trees. I've tried traps with some success, poison with some success and many other varied methods (gum, HA ! no good).
What I'm doing now is installing hardware cloth ( 1/4" wire mesh x 8" deep) undergraond around my yard and it seems to be working. Moles, when up against a barrier will follow that barrier untill they get through or go on to somthing else (good tip on setting your trap).
Let me know how you make out. Dan
