I feel really honored to have this cactus bloom and to think I almost missed it, as the pot is hidden from view in the kitchen window behind the curtain in a corner of the window sill. I saw the bloom from outdoors. And the bloom only last for one day.

I now have two blooms at the sametime, I am so thrilled, one of the flowers has a ragged edge, don't know what happened to it, the flowers do have a very pale pinkish tinge to the outer edges and down the centers of the outer most petals.

Well Tonya..It may be quite awhile before you get to see blooms on yours...but from what I understand, they need to be root bound in order to bloom, so the smaller the pot the faster it may bloom.
