Hi all wish I had a picture but I don't. The wild onions have produced "flowers" well they don't really look like flowers. They look like globes of purple seeds all sticking pointy end out. The thin membrane that was wrapped around them has split and is starting to go away. I would love to harvest them but I don't know how. Can you help me please. Is what I am looking at going to burst into bloom or are they really the seeds. Will they dry on the stock and then be ready to pick? Or should I pick them now and then do something to them. They are much bigger than the seeds I got in the green onion package from the store. And they are purple. Any help would be appreciated.
