I have a beautiful honeysuckle that has now started putting out these bright red berries where the flowers were. Are these seed pockets or what?

Thanks in advance for info.

You are so lucky to have a fruit-bearing Honeysuckle. I wish mine would do that because the birds would love it. [Wink] We have a good source of information right here at Garden Helper. Check it out! [thumb]

Thanks for the link, Rosie. [kissies] Geesh, this really news to me because I never knew Honeysuckle produced any berries, but I only have the Hall's invasive one. Do you know if that one produces berries, [dunno] because I've never seen any on mine? [Frown] I have been pretty successful in keeping my Honeysuckle contained, [thumb] so it's invasiveness has never been a problem for me. [Wink]

Patti, my Honeysuckle has never set fruit either. Maybe we need boy and girl vines? [Big Grin]

Do you guys have the Japanese Vine Honeysuckles??? Do you have any Seeds off of them? I've been looking all over the place for Japanese Honeysuckle seeds & can't find any. If you can help me, I have seeds to trade for it.

Do you think this is One?
Are they hardy in zone 5? Grew it from seed.
