i am having trouble identifying a moss that likes to grow on oaks but will grow on other tress as well. its very beautiful and is a chartruse(spelling)its like the fite truck color like a green to lime or sumpin like that color.. this is at 4200 elevation and in the Lassen National Forest area..
what pictures i find are not clear enough for me to ident.its structure is hardy and may grow out of the limb its on by 2 inches or so, seems to be stiff in nature. this would be a moss that you could use in decorating and flower arangements. if any of you can call it out or point me to a site that would help...thanks so much all...i remain..Praetori.....................
