Hey, Bill
I thought you were messing with our minds so I dragged the second tree picture to Publisher and turned it upside down. It's beautiful but it doesn't make sense to me either way I look at it. The light doesn't seem right. Is there an explanation for this? Thanks.

Man Carol, I'm glad I'm not the only one....
I've sat here lookin' at that for the longest time now.
The best I can come up with is.............
#1. He's up the tree taking the picture
#2. He's standing on top of a knoll under the tree, so he's higher up and seems to be in the tree level, sortof downard with the shot....
Seems to be a big tree or group of trees, and maybe a path or opening on the other side. hense the darkness on the other taller trees, and where there's an opening, it's shining bright on the tree branches and leaves giving a glowing effect from above.

I've looked and looked, I thought it was upside down too!!!

Weezie, i think you are right....it has to be number 2 that you listed....that he is under the tree but elevated on a slope or hill........My area is nothing but trees...we have a large paper mill in our area....we don't have that many evergreen trees though....mostly deciduous......

I just thought of a third possiblity.........
He's under the tree, and there's an opening,
providing sunlight on top if the tree he's under and the further darker trees are on a slight hill going up and that gives the illusion too!
Which one is it Bill???

The only part that you missed Weezie, is that you gotta be sitting on the ground leaning back against the tree. The first photo was taken waaaaaaay up in the mountains, the other two were on my property.....

Bill,
That was good!!!!
You have a very interesting eye!!!

I enjoy a good lookie see and challenge like that!!!
Very Good!!!

Thanks for keepin' us on our toes!!!

Weezie

We used to play with photo's and developing them in highschool. We'd look for shots, and other shots to put in side the shots.
like a picture of a door frame and then double impose flowers on it so it looked like they were inside the door. Have you ever done that, or do you send the photo's off to get developed???? Just curious?????
