Ladystressout,
Check where your flowers were...
There should be a "growing in size" pea green ball like.... they'll keep growing, I am not too sure how big the ball will get, this is my first year with Nasturtiums too, but I would wait until they start turning brown color and collect then..

Put into a mailing envelope or go to SEED PACKETS TEMPLATES and print a bunch up for yourself this winter and do them when the wind is blowing and it's snowing outside....
There's alot of good hints out there for doing them.

Heh! Heh! I'm glad I re-read that - I thought you'd told her to throw the seeds to the wind when it's blowing and snowing.

You meant that she should do these things in the winter . . .

OK - I was just going to ask another question about nasturtiums but I found it myself.

They are annuals and no, you do not just leave them out in the garden over the winter - right?

I will collect the seeds. I'll do those next - I'm working on the petunia seeds right now.

Yes, Carly, That's exactly what I meant!!!
Sometimes, my typing fingers and loss of brain cells get the best of me and don't type the right way???

Have you made any seed packets before???
They're allllllllot of fun...

And like I said before, there's some good tips in there and NIKKAL had one about printing some of the good one's up you find along the way, putting them into a folder or somewhere's, then when it's a nasty, yicky day, get them out and cut them up and maybe another night, put them together..etc.
She's right about finding the ones you like and printing it up right then, cause you forget which one you liked, where it was that you found it, etc.. and it's more of a headache to go hunting again for them later...

Nope, they don't over winter!!!
So collect them sometime soon!!

I wrote Ladystressout about mine, and the color of them..
They're lime green right now, and there's 4 to a "ball", so I will wait for them to turn brown colored and pick them....
I have had some fun with them this year, this was my first year growing them and had several very pretty colors!!!
but, not sure what to do with them...if any form or mature!!!
But it's been fun watching them!!!

Whoa! You're fast, Wheezie - we must be online at the very same time.

Where are you anyway - you know that I'm Toronto, Canada.

You're New York? Is that right?

Well, when you're up here, lemme' know - we gotta' meet.

I never come down to the states - my husband just will not go over the border - too much trouble goin' on, he says.

I've been down to Buffalo many times (not for years though).

And N. F., New York, of course - Adirondacks, left my sunglasses in Maine once.

And I've been all the way to Florida on the train when I was 13.
