A while back I wrote about my gardenia and its yellow leaves. The gardenia has bloomed well but the leaves are still yellow. I thought I had it planted to deep to I leveled the ground around it. My mother ran across an article mentioning the use of epsom salts to rid the yellow leave problem, has anyone ever heard of this and if so how do i go about it?

Is it possible maybe I'm watering it too much, someone else mentioned that...

I use epsom salt all the time. I just sprinkle it all around the plants, far enough out from the truck so that it can get into the root system. If you're not going to have any rain water it in.

Are there multiple plants the epsom salt will work on?
What are the benefits overall?

I've heard roses like it. But that's the extent of my knowledge so far.

Looks like it's the magnesium sulphate that's good for some plants.

I'd try a few rusty nails around your plant.could be a lack of iron.

Epson salts help the plant use other nutrients also.I use on brugs& roses,Hygrandgea...
