We often hear about a plant that we want to learn more about. [dunno] Without access to all those heavy reference books here's a site anyone can use:

http://plants.usda.gov/

Don't let the Latin throw you off - searches can be done using common names too! There are even printable reports for many of the plants. (I used them to make my own garden reference book with MY plants in it!) It's a great site to surf around in and since we all pay taxes we're getting something for our money! [thumb]

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intent of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming,
"WHOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!"
