Shrubs or plants?

Hi all! I am planning on putting in some Lilacs and Honeysuckle along my back wall. Are these shrubs or plants? The ones I'm looking to buy are already about 4 to 5 feet tall. I want to be able to ask for help and ideas, but I don't know which area to ask in. Thanks. [nutz]

Lilacs are shrubs and honeysuckles are vines(to the best of my knowledge anyway). You asked in the right place and welcome to our forum.

Most honeysuckles are vines, but there are also a few shrub honeysuckles.

I have something called desert honeysuckle that is a bush and takes full sun and is drought tolerant. The leaves remind me of parsley so it's probably not from the honeysuckle family at all. So just ignore me. Sometimes I go off on a tangent and I think this is one of those times.
