How many boy per girl plants do you need? I am thinking that I will need about 10-15 plants to cover an ugly fence , so am wondering how many boy/girls I need to get.

Also does anyone know how fast they grow??

Thanks so much!!!

I would get more than 1. You probably won't get adequate pollination with just 1. I have read a 4 to 1 ratio of males to females. I have 1 blue prince and 4 blue princess and have very good production.

Thanks! I was thinking it was 1 per 4/5 but wasn't sure.

How fast have yours grown? The tag says moderategrowth rate ....I would LOVE for them to get big FAST lol.

They have grown rather quickly. Which is what I wanted as they are planted to provide a wildlife-friendly, evergreen hedge around a large unappealing electrical box.

Starla, looking at your pictures, that is a rather disturbing photo of that white cat reaching into the nestbox. I hope you would consider taking the box down off the fence and putting it on a pole with a predator baffle.
