I found this list of plants in a magazine. According to the article these are the plants most attractive for birds in general:

1) bombax ceiba
2) acnistus arborescens
3) ocotea puberula
4) matayba elaeagnoides
5) morus nigra
6) ficus guaranitica
7) citharexylum myrianthum
8) michelia champaca
9) calicarpa reevesii

Fruits trees which also attracts birds:
(Sorry but most of the names are in portuguese. If necessary look at wikipedia):

acerola
caju
caqui
goiaba
jaboticaba
mamão (papya)
pessego (peach)
pitanga
seriguela

The most popular birds and the easiest ones to be attracted by the plants and fruits trees mentioned above:

chlorophonia cyanea
mimus saturnicus
Thraupis sayaca
pitangus sulphuratus
columba picazuro

I hope these tips, although not about seeds exchange, will be usefull for some of you guys!!

Plants that attract birds depend on what birds in what areas and climates. American Red Cedar isnt going to attract a parrot from the amazon. [perplexed]
If you google native trees and shrubs for birds within your state, you'll find plants that will work well for you.

I am not sure about Brazil, but two of the best bird attractors we have in the Eastern U.S. are Black Oil Sunflowers and Jewelweed.
