Okay, I can't lie, most of those still need to ripen a little more...my camera sure makes 'em look red! [Big Grin]
It's sure great having all we can eat lately, though.
You northerners can rub it in later, when you're still eating tomatoes and my plants have burned to a crisp.

That would make it a Tennessee breakfast.

"You are missing the peppers and chips though!"

Peppers! Of course!

If you've had the pastel green, you probably have the same hens as ours. They're called Aracona, i'm not sure if that's the right spelling. Sometimes our eggs are pale green instead of blue. These are the only chickens i know of that lay blue or green eggs, and I've heard them called "Easter egg" chickens. We also have Rhode Island Reds, and their eggs are white.
We've got 4 extra roosters right now that I'd love to eat, but I haven't gotten up the courage to try plucking 'em! [Big Grin]

Biscuits and gravy sounds great. Haven't had that in a while.
I've planted about 20 peach trees in the last few years, and a late freeze zapped the blossoms. Not one peach from my trees this year! [Eek!] [tears] [tears] [tears]

I don't know why I have stopped getting fruit like this. Used to do it all the time and will go back to it now that I have rediscovered that there is more fruit out there than apples, oranges and bananas. [Big Grin]

I make milk gravy and my husband likes it on potato salad.

I'm a boring breakfast eater. I eat oatmeal every morning before work.

Put them in the fridge Weezie. That helps especially if the kiddos eat them fast. I get 2 bags from the "day old" produce section for only 39 cents a pound and they are gone in 3 days here. My kids LOVE bananas.

I can not eat cold fruit...
Growing up as a child, I ate all sorts of berries, *strawberries, black and red raspberries, thimbleberries, elderberries, blackberries, grapes, cherries, pears, apples, plums* straight off the bush/tree/vine..
allllllll outside temps..
and can not eat any of it cold....

*Same for my veggies, especially tomatoes.*

In Arkansas our breakfast depends upon the season...Like today for breakfast we had scrambled egg sandwiches with fresh sliced tomatoes. Yum Yum [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] The eggs are fresh from own chickens and tomatoes from the garden... We don't always have tomatoes and in the dead of winter we don't many eggs. In another week or two..Breakfast will be cantaloupe or watermelon [Big Grin] Fresh Fruit????

I'd like Sheri's oatmeal, topped with Triss and Weezie's fruits, and Comfrey's fresh scrambled egg sandwich for breakfast, please !
And a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice from my Valencia orange tree !
Let's plan a brunch sometime !
