Hay u guys it's been a while..but my cukes arent getting longer they are getting fat and they look like little baseballs...what should i do

They are suffering from a potassium deficiency. They get fat and then suddenly taper to a narrow blossom end.
See if you can find a high potash (K)liquid fertilizer. Or side dress with some sulphate of potash and water in.

I have a particular variety that is doing that in my garden--the other varieties planted in very well near the same place are doing just fine. I just assumed it was a product of the variety!

Sarah, you might have the one called Eight Ball.
It's a round zucchini. I grew that last year and loved it.
