Vinegar Candy Recipe

Ready in: 30-60 minutes

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons butter
pinch of salt

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and stir until dissolved. Cook until the hard ball stage is reached. Remove from heat and pour in to a greased pan. When cold hit with a knife so that it will crack in to pieces.

I meant to get to it earlier, but
it has been a full unbelievable ride
here lately!!!
It's just been one thing after another..

Question on the recipe..

You've got 2 cups of sugar...
The recipe my mom had, used Caro *light* syrup...
What would be the amount used for that, instead
of the sugar....???
Got any hints for me??
Same measurements???????????????? [dunno]
