What kind of grass?

I can't figure out if this is crabgrass, quackgrass, or something totally different. It grows in clumps and pulls out of my flower beds fairly easily - whether or not I'm getting it all, I don't know. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Thanks Rugby, I'm leaning towards dallisgrass....I'll have to read more about it to know for sure. [Wink]

It is Dallisgrass and most crab grass sprays are effective on it.

Thanks Mike! It's driving me insane because it roots at every nub and naturally it lays across the ground as it grows so it eludes the mower - Grrrrrrrrrrr! It's rooting everywhere and spreading like mad. (Hey at least it's not bermuda grass [Wink] ) I'm working on smothering a good portion of it with raised beds - but it's a fairly big piece of land (to me, anyway) so it'll take me a bit to divide and conquer!
