	![[wayey]](im/graemlins/wavey.gif) Hi Woodie,
Hi Woodie, sorry for the delay.I missed your question somehow.
I water my houseplants once a week.So if I'm having a gnat problem I just cover all the exposed soil with cinnamon.
Then, when watering time comes again,if I still have them ,I repeat the cinnamon treatment.
And no,the cinnamon will not harm the plant or the soil.
I don't like using chems either.

One question do I cover the top soil completly (showing no dirt) or just sprinkle. and should I do this before watering and feeding, and is there any negative efect I should watch for.
I useally water from the top, will the cinnimon cause problems, should I just water from the bottom
