they look like sand dollars connected by a vine horizontaly. That might not be their real name but because we are floridians over here, we named them that. They look similar to water lilies too, except out of the water (hehe)

Kelly,
I asked G~mom to swing thru
and see if she can lend you a hand...
I have never heard of those plants before,
and everytime I'd Google them, I got the real thing.

Sooooooo, she'll swing thru and see if she
can shed some light on it for us!!!

I'm dyin' to see a picture of those!!!

Heres a pic for you Weezie...
Dollar Weed

It is also known as pennywort. VERY tough weed to get rid of as it spreads underground on runners. When you pull them you need to make sure you get as much of the runner as you can,as they will come back from just the smallest piece. They like a very moist environment. I don't get them in my yard,I get them in my flower beds [Razz] I have had success eliminating them from my yard by using a weed and feed, but,am scared to use it in my flower beds.

I know what you mean...it's a daily battle to remove them all, they seem to grow overnight [shocked]

My bakc yard was infested with that stuff, we call it creeping charlie. I used weed and feed also. For my gardens, I use paper towel cylinders or the ones from the toliet paper. put those over the weeds in the gardens then spray it with round up, that way you just get the weeds and do not have to worry about ruining your flowers or veggies.
