Well, I thought I was happy with the hardwood mulch we put down on our new beds...but I can't help worrying about termites getting to my house, since the beds run right along my house - which isn't all on solid concrete foundation The idea of 'artillery fungus' isn't making me feel warm & fuzzy about it either, since my house has white siding!

I think I'm going to move it to the 'outter beds' (yet to be made) and put rocks down over the landscape fabric on the beds up near the house. FOOEY!
