I have 3 Brussel Sprouts, I sowed from seed. they are about 6 inches tall and wanting to go out to play......... [tongue]

Anyone know when to plant them in zone 5 and 6?

The sure look nice.

Thanks Carly,

It is to go to the 50ies this week and not belowe 32 all week,, so I am thinking of putting them out........It says frost makes them sweeter.

I had a couple of BS plants make it all the way through winter, I was picking in February.

That is good.......Your a milder climate, compared to Penna........Also there are different varietys of BS, which are more hardy than others. [kitty]

We had a mild winter this year as well, but I couldn't find any BS seeds to plant fall.

I have plenty of seeds this year.

ok..........
I took everyones advice.. Today I planted my Brussel Sprouts, and some Flowering Kale, and parsley......They were all acting like they wanted to go outside....
It is to drop next week .It is a beautiful sunny 65 here in penna today.
If we get frost , I will cover them.
I will tell you if they live or die. ;o)
