Stopped at all the local haunts looking for plant bargains and Lowe's had 1 gallon perenials for less than half price. I got 2 daylilies- Salome, 2 coneflowers- 1 sunrise and 1 sunset. All for under $20.00 The daylilies have buds so I will get to enjoy them before winter sets in. They also had lots of phlox. I did resist the complete pond kit for $25.00.

Yeah for bargains!

My Lowes also has perennials on sale, but they don't have a very good selection. I did get an orange agastache and a red salvia. I really wish they had the Sunset Coneflower..it's one of my favorites. They also had tall Rocket Snapdragons for $3, so I got a few of those, too. Mine usually last for a couple of years before I need to replace them.
