When can a turks cap be transplanted?
Right now it's in full sun and about 2 feet from my sprinkler system I want to move it. Can this plant survive if I move it where it's not by a water source but still in full sun?

Thank you for helping me become a gardner.

Hi Janet,

Now would be a great time. When the leaves have started to yellow is when they are ready. You will need to leave the green growth to feed the bulb for next year.

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
