I had a very pretty petunia in one of the containers and then one day it seemed droopy and then it was gone. Is that what these do? Of did one of the little beasties get it? I've still so much to learn about the garden. Please help me understand.

Tammy,
The whole plant died?
Or just the actual flower?

tkhooper,

6000 posts and you didnt learn any gardening on here????????? daaaaaaaaaaaaa
jokin.
Petunias........Did you water it at all?
They do drop quickly if the soil is dry, or root bound.. I Planted about 6 in a pot and today they was drooping .. No water..
So i gave them some and will thin it out 2maro.
They are easy grown here.

the entire plant appears to have disappeared. They were standing up and then they fell over showing a very unattractive underside and then a few days later the entire plant was gone. I know because it was the white one with purple marbling. And it is totally gone. Now all I have are the white and the purple. And the purple is starting to do the same thing. And I haven't gotten one lousy seed yet. Grrrrrh
