any tips on pruning "Stock" or "buterfly bush"

Butterfly Bush should be pruned in early spring right when it's starting to leaf out. You can cut it back almost to the ground if you want to keep it smaller...cut it back less if want it larger. Cutting it back actually causes it to bloom more heavily.

I cut my Butterfly Bush almost to the ground this spring and it's much bushier and fuller than it has been the last couple of years. [thumb] Now, I'm just waiting to see how much it blooms this year. [dunno]
