Hello all,

Just wondering what your experience is growing vegetables that do not get full sun. This is my first year gardening, and the only place I have for my vegetable plot doesn't get much morning sun. So far, my tomatoes, cucumbers, and string beans are doing really well, but bell peppers just haven't been growing that well, and are only getting flowers now.

I'm in zone 7 in New England.

Oh, yes, they do get afternoon sun. I have a couple of raised beds. Bought a bunch of topsoil this spring plus a good dose of shellfish compost to fill the beds, but I haven't fertilized otherwise.

Any peppers I've ever grown seem to need a good 8 hours of direct light.
