If it was an oriental or asiatic lily, it won't bloom this year if the stem was broken off, but it will return and bloom next year.

I did mark the spot, and should probably mark it with stones of some sort. I just drew a circle in the dirt...
somehow I don't think that will be much help in finding it next year! lol Thanks guys!
