Like all enthusiastic fairly new gardeners, I went to a nursery and went wild. And I bought a red trumpet vine (or hummingbird vine, whatever you want to call it). I live in zone 6 and I don't know if I will be able to plant it and leave it outdoors year around. I know the yellow trumpet vine is tropical and has to come in but is the red a bit more hardy? I used to have one when I lived down in the valley (zone 8) and I just loved it. Am I going to be disappointed here? Thanks for the help.

Actually, Forest Farm www.forestfarm.com lists 5 trumpet creepers. 1 orange, 2 yellow, 1 orange-red and 1 coral-orange! All are hardy to zone 5.
