Hi-

I'm new to forum - a novice gardner. I saw some beautiful purple sweat pea plants at the nursery yesterday and couldn't resist buying them!

I have a large trellis tall and wide that I hope they will grow on. I have to plant them (3 plants) in containers. What size containers will they need to thrive? Thanks.

Hi KJH

Ihave grown sweer pea's many times in containers with great sucsess, I would suggest either a container 20" long the width doesn't really matter but at least 10" deep, you could also try them in a round ornimental pot but no smaller the 12" diameter if you are putting 3 plants in. ope this helps.
