Hi! I have a peace lily that has brown tips. Reading through the Problem solving page it is suggesting that I need to give it humidity and let my water sit for 24 hours before watering... but it doesn't say whether or not to cut the ends off, or how to cut them if I should. The new leaves coming are healthy, and I would like the old ones to look pretty too. Thanks for any help that is offered! [thinker]

Mandy,

Go ahead and cut the brown tips. I trim mine using 2 diagonal cuts to maintain the pointed leaf shape but others just cut at 1 diagonal.

Plants love Avon bubble bath as a fertizler, I use it all the time on them, after I was my windows with the BB I give it to my outside plants as well... for plants with shiney leaves, I spray them with BB and than cover the dirt with plastic and give the plant a shower or put outside in the rain.. They love it.
