Create Your Own Dream Gardens

Willy will help you return to the Home Page Creating your own garden is not a project that will be accomplished in a day or two, unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money to pay for landscape designers and a landscape crew. Of course, if that was the case, you wouldn't be here to learn how to do it yourself! These professionals do beautiful work, but in my mind the finished product will only reflect their own ideas, concepts and personality. It will be their dream garden, residing on your property. I prefer the self satisfaction that is the resulting reward of my own imagination, planning, and hard work that it takes to create this personal work of art. With the exception of a few vegetable gardens in the past, I have never started out with a plan for a new garden. They just seem to happen around here...

My Own Hummingbird Garden...

One year, a freak ice storm flattened my Honeysuckle arbor, so I went into the woods to get some poles to prop it back up with. A year later, I was still wandering in the woods looking for the last 'perfect' pieces of hardscape material to put the finishing touches on what is probably the biggest Hummingbird House in the world!

Gardens with Themes

A really, really ugly bus sat in my front yard for 25 years before I could finally get it moved. My plan was to use the area for extending my lawn... Well... that was my plan! I built a Bus Stop instead... One year I sent out packets of Columbine seeds to some good friends. For some reason, that led to the creation of my Fairy Garden...

Water Features in Your Garden

Adding a water feature to your garden will always impress your friends and neighbors! Personally, I can't even build a simple Bird Bath without getting carried away with the project!

Yes, gardening is a lot of hard work, but it is enjoyable work... and a true labor of love. Each hour of effort you put forth in your garden will reward you, your family, and your neighbors with many hours of enjoyment. Every year you will benefit from the efforts you put out during the previous one.

Each year your plants and flowers will be a little larger and more beautifu Each year you will come closer to your goal of creating your own 'perfect garden'. Yes... gardening is a lot of work, but the rewards are great and long lasting. When you stand back and take a look at what you built with your own hands, the sense of accomplishment is great. This beautiful work of art is yours, and yours alone. This is Your Own Dream Garden!
