the other day i spotted a chipmunk scurrying under our shed which is only about 3 ft away from the edge of my garden. i haven't noticed anything missing- will they bother with it? if they will how can i get rid of them?

I feed the birds and the chipmunks and squirrels eat the birdseed that spills on the ground.

They will eventually become destructive. I use a rat trap baited with peanut butter to get rid of them.

Ditto, what john said.

They multiply quick and then take over the neighborhood, one made a burrow into the basement of the house, from 5'away, cheeky buggers.

I love them!! I just make sure I feed them so they don't eat my stuff!! I have one that sits on my shoe and eats his snacks [Wink]
