I entered at the fair for the first time and won first place for my onions! Yea!
 - They have been in the intense heat for 5 days but were beautiful when picked.
I think I am hooked now. I won $2.50 for them and $1.00 for my jam. Hardly covers costs. [Roll Eyes] The onion seedlings were from Territorial Seed Company and are Copra white onions. I am not sure how they got so big so fast. The Walla Wallas and red are not that big yet.
Watch out state fair!
