Yarrow (Achillea) is a perennial.

Hi Franny!

I dug up a small piece of yellow yarrow by the roadside many years ago - I'm still trying to get rid of it!!! Be careful - it sends down an extremely long tap root that is difficult to remove if you want to. It also multiplies by the teeny tiny seeds, so you'll have it everywhere if the wind blows them!

That said, I really like it in a place where it doesn't take over the rest of the garden!

I second what Lynne said..
I had a package of "wildflower seeds"
and I had a nice crop of things the first year,
and a smaller about of the one's the second year,
the only thing I had left by the third year was the white yarrow... [Mad] [Frown] [Razz] [perplexed]
