There is a house on one of the main roads here that has 2 maple trees out front. It's on a very busy road, or I'd try and get a picture. They were planted about 2 years ago just before the house was sold, and are about 7 feet tall now. The leaves on this tree are a bright chartreuse color - both of them! I have never seen any this color before anywhere.

Is this a new variety of maple?
Could it be the soil that is doing this?
I really love the color and would love to look for one to plant here.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!
