thought id share this, & if you have any soap recipes, please share! [gabby]

for the strongest aroma, use herbs like rosemary, lavender, and thyme--their oils seem to linger on the skin the longest.{ or so my book says, if you use any other please share }

SOFT HERBAL SOAP
1 1/2 cups {4 1/2oz--140g } dried herbs.
1 1/2 quarts { 1.5 1 } water.
2 cups {16oz--500g } shredded pure soap.
1/2 cup {4oz--125g } borax.
in an enamel saucepan, combine the herbs and water and bring to a boil. simmer for 30 minutes to release the oils. reheat slowly and add the shredded soap and borax wile stirring. boil gently for 3 minutes, then cool. pour the soft soap into covered containers.
