I'm looking for germination information on this plant. Clitorea Ternatea or Butterfly Pea Vine. The only thing I could find was that a solution of sufric acid would increase germination. And I know a clutz like me isn't going to try that. Does anyone have any information on the best way to germinate these and about how long it would take and what kind of growing conditions they like. Other than being an annual I'm not getting very far on my research. I only have 4 seeds so I don't want to do the experimental approach.

I grow some of these.Though I don't sow the seeds cause it returns naturally in my climate.I'd pour boiling water on them and them soak or just pour directly over the soil where you want them grown.Once they sprout they grow very fast. They can also be grown as a groundcover.I have some in full sun and some in shaded area. The shaded area don't bloom a whole lot the sun spot blooms alot.I don't have to worry much about watering them either. There is a blue one too thats very very close to an actual blue its so violet. Its not as hardy either or I weeded it.
I'd grow them this year& if you mulch it,It may return for you.Mine are just popping up over the last 2 weeks.my sun one has had 3 blooms&I've got ALOT of seedlings blown in one direction from Rita
