pecan puffs

      PECAN PUFFS



      More recipes from The Gardeners Forum
      1 C Shortening 1/2 C Powdered sugar
      2 1/4 C Flour 1/2 tsp Salt
      1 tsp Vanilla 3/4 C Chopped pecans (or walnuts)

      Mix shortening and powdered sugar.
      Blend in Vanilla.
      Add flour, salt and pecans.
      Form into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
      Bake at 350 degrees for 12 -15 minutes.
      Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
