Hi everyone, My name is Sandie. I am 40 years old, single and live with my oldest sister Terri (there are seven of us..I am the youngest) on our Quarter Horse farm. I have two wonderful daughters: Danielle who is sixteen and Melissa who is nineteen and expecting her first child in June. I am currently my sister's caregiver. She has been at war with Peritoneal/Ovarian cancer since November of last year. I started gardening last April and have had pretty good luck so far. I love it! It has gotten me through some pretty rough times when I needed something to take my mind off things. You can read more about myself at my blog spot. http://mzvictorias.blogspot.com
I am looking forward to meeting you all and learning!!
Hi Sandieroo! Hey, I'm from Illinos, too and live across the river, about 15 miles, from St. Louis! What zone are you in?
I want to welcome you to the forum! It's a great place to be and you're going to love it here. We are so glad to have you aboard. You'll find there's a wealth of information and plenty of people to help you if you have any questions. Enjoy!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I am in zone 6. I am in southernmost Illinois. Near Kentucky. I have been reading like a mad woman since I joined. Tons of information. I am trying to get my seeds started indoors, but the barn has been calling me louder then my seeds. Maybe tomorrow.

Sandie, actually, I'm in zone 6 too, but it's zone 6a. You're probably a lot warmer down where you are, maybe 6b? I hope to see you around on some of the forums.

Hi Sandie and welcome to the forum. I think you will really like it here. We talk about gardening a lot but we also cover lots of other subjects, as you can see. Hope you found the prayer section for Terri. Even if you haven't yet, I will keep her in my prayers.
