Guess what? That makes you a gardener!
Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of us clueless gardeners here, so come on in & make yourself at home. I've been here for a while, but the more I learn, the more I realize how much I still don't know! Gardening isn't very difficult really, but it CAN get pretty addictive... just like this forum is!
I have a 7 year old Granddaughter who has been my garden helper & craft partner since she was old enough to walk, & she is a little warehouse of knowledge about when & where & what to plant at this point (& boy does she ever know her weeds!) She doesn't like spiders, but worms are her "buddies" & she has put herself in charge of our worm bins - (knows just what to feed them, & when they need new bedding, etc.). I don't think I'd have anywhere near the garden beds around my house if it wasn't for her help, & she also maintains a pretty tight schedule with caring for "our" houseplants. I hope that your little one will enjoy side-kicking with you in the garden as much as mine does... kids can be an inspiration all their own when it comes to gardening!
We wish you both a healthy & Happy New Year, & look forward to getting to know you & finding out what you two are planning for your 2007 gardens!
