Hafa Adai from Guam! I just found this website and immediately signed up. I am into cooking and baking. Gardening is totally new to me. I just got a Chia herb garden kit yesterday on ebay and started it right away. I was so anxious to see sprouts, I got up in the middle of the night last night to check on my babies and of course, no sprouts yet, LOL. Sure, I know it is way too soon but I am just like a kid on a christmas morning. I am just so new to this I still don't have the confidence of a seasoned gardener like you guys. This is the reason why I joined this forum. I now feel I have gardener friends from all over the world and I am not as scared anymore just in case things don't go the way I want them to. I'll keep you posted... A.

Hafa Adai welcome glad to have you. Had another person here from Guam not long back I think could be wrong. Just jump in have a lot of info in a lot of places. I raise Hibiscus which I understand some are native to your part of the world. Are you allowed to ship Hibiscus plants or seeds from there or do you know? I live in Texas. Jimmy

Hi Jimmy, yes you are right. We have lots of Hibiscus in different colors here in Guam. Same as the Plumeria which is my favorite. I pick one every morning on the way to my car. The sweet fragrance is always so nice to smell while driving to work. I am not sure about the restrictions on mailing plants out. What I know is that the US customs is very strict when it comes to plants coming from tropical islands like Guam. Thanks Penny, Princessazlea, and JV for the welcome. I feel at home already. A.
