On this note - question.

My peat pots - when I move them to a bigger container - could I just put them in a hanging basket - the assortment of seedlings in peat pots that I want for my hanging basket arrangement?

I'm pretty sure you can! Just be sure to add some soil and not just the peat pots

[thumb] yep. you can, and kenny is right. BUT, for faster acclimation to the pot, i'd use a sharp knife and poke holes in the peat pot.
