And I'm pretty sure I've figured out what kinds of the flowers the other ones that haven't bloomed yet are. I have little mini daffodils blooming. I don't remember buying those but they are so cute. I peeked at my tulips that are coming up and they have buds hiding inside now. I'm so proud! I'll try to take pics of the littel daffodils. So far there are only 2 flower but there are a bunch more buds that are getting ready to bloom!

Way to go, Cheryl! Isn't it a great feeling to see the fruits or maybe I should say flowers of your labor. Spring is such an exciting time for all of us who like to play in the dirt.

Sorry, Weezie! I hope it won't be too long before your weather gets a lot better. I'm on Spring Break and we're supposed to have GREAT weather all week, so I lucked out this time, but then it's going to get cold again!

It is sunny, and everything is dripping.. but in a few days they said, it's all supposed to get cold, AGAIN!!! So, the dripping and melting process stops..
That's okay though... Whenever I try to rush the process, I get burnt..
**Last year it was gorgeous, early, verrrrry early and I got the "BUG" from everyone starting things, and although I knewwwww better, I started some seeds outdoors, and got burnt.. It dropped in temps so fast and it stayed there for like 2 months it seems..
So, I am in nooooooooo big hurry this year..

Weezie, I know how that goes all too well! I've got burnt before too, so I'm in NO hurry to start things that can't take it if we get a cold snap. I'm just enjoying being outside, getting some things in shape and checking on all my bulbs and perennials to see what's coming up.
The other day I picked up some free mulch and got my little garden path finished. I'm building a bed for my strawberries and tilling up some of my yard for a small vegetable garden because I've decided to do more than just tomatoes this year. Actually, what I've spent a lot of my time doing the last couple of days is picking up GUMBALLS and I don't even have a Sweetgum tree, but some of my neighbors do!!! I have already filled five yard waste bags full of GUMBALLS!!!
Tomorrow a friend is bringing her truck so we can pick up a load of dirt for my front yard. We have to see how much that covers because we may need a few more loads than that , but we're starting with one load.
I think I'm playing it smart this year, because I haven't done anything yet that is going to get me burned in the end.
