hello all...new to this so bear with me please.
I have (had) a lovely avocado tree I planted from
an unusually large seed. It is about a foot tall.
I had to move it from a south window to a west
window. It has now drooped and the top leaves have dried up and shriveled.... I do not have another south window for a month or 2. What can
I do to save it? The best I have is an eastern
window. Also.........What should I do to my
hosta bed to insure healthy plants in the spring?

Louise...I know nothing about avocado trees...but a hostess will probably move this into the PLANT forum where someone who knows the answer will see it.

Welcome to the forum!

You'll learn your way around here in no time...and find all your answers here...and maybe you can help someone else out with a question they might have that you know the answer to!

Nice to meet you!

Louise,

Welcome to the forum. I had great success with my hostas in Nebraska and did nothing with them. We had snow and very cold temps in the winter, and they just seemed to thrive!
