Guess I'm just in the mood for asking wierd questions . . . I've had a brainstorm;

Boil a clay pot in my dutch oven (bit cooking pot).

Would this be a good way of cleaning same?

yep. sure would. if the dutch oven is deep enough. or you could bake it at about 425.

or put it in a bleach water bath.

Be sure to rinse or soak in regular water after the bleach cuz clay absorbs 'stuff'
