hello,

would someone know what seeds takes longer that i can sow right now, unfortunately there s so much space(a limited space) to put my seedlings on my south facing window inside, the most space i got is a west facing window and there is a building right beside so it s partly shade almost no sun from there.so what are the kind i can put over there.

thank you very much.

Franny.

You know Franny that might be a good window for cuttings. Since they aren't suppose to like direct light. Are you going to get any Mint cuttings or anything like that this year? Coleus can survive in indirect light conditions. They get leggy so I prune hard with those.

Or what about african violets. Those might do good over there if it is really shady.

Francine, just stick a leaf off an AV in the dirt an leave it alone for a while. That's what I have done before and they always have sprouted.

When can you plant outside? The ground needs to be sort of warm to put out coleus. They are so beautiful. I usually plant them from bulbs.

Do you put mint in your garden? I have or had some in a pot because it's invasive to put in the ground.
