The first few years we lived here at the apartment building where Jeff superintends, we did have some soil outside the window - eventually that was taken up when the new parking lot was put in.
Guess you can tell I'm about to tell one of my long winded stories, eh? Well, I'll see how much I can tell this morning.
Most of this will be what I call the 'Table Garden'.
Hibiscus - 1997
We didn't do too well with that one - it only lasted a few weeks.
2001
I was into a little experimenting then . . . always trying to grow some wild thing I'd collected . . . just like I am now.
(At the end of '86 I collected a wild thing, took it home with me - he wouldn't leave so I married him . . . Jeff)

Mini Rose Bushes
I don't think a year has gone by that we didn't get one of these - we never manage to bring them through till the following spring though - we'll see what happens this year.
Growing Clover - 2002
I went bananas and started growing some clover I'd found in a pot - ended up getting a picture of my full pot published in a magazine called 'things' along with an article
Needless to say, I was right proud of myself . . .
